Recently CCEP celebrated its partnership with The Rivers Trust and The Coca-Cola Company in regenerating six wetlands in North London in the Thames basin catchment area.

CCEP has a goal to replenish 100% of the water we use in our beverages, which is why our +10 year partnership with the Rivers Trust is so vital, as it unlocks access to projects which aim to protect this precious resource.

This project identified urban greenspaces to install constructed wetlands to improve water quality and enhance natural habitat. This work to restore vital wetlands will have a positive impact on the local community while helping to deliver water security for generations to come. Click here to read more on the project.

Our 330ml premium-feel sleek cans are popular throughout Great Britain and are available in a range of drinks for hospitality, alongside our glass icon Coca-Cola bottles and glassware. These cans are modern and premium, use less packaging, are easier to transport and store. They also have the potential in future to incorporate higher levels of recycled content, an important lever for reducing greenhouse gas emissions.  Read more here.

In 2025, our partnership with Special Olympics GB continued to thrive. Colleagues across the business joined Unified Sports activities, bringing people with and without intellectual disabilities together. We also delivered our sixth Unified Business programme, supporting athlete leaders to build their professional skills. Working with Co‑op, we launched Meals That Matter to raise awareness of inclusive sport and help fund community clubs.

Looking ahead, 2026 will be even bigger with the return of the Special Olympics GB National Summer Games, giving around 1,700 athletes the opportunity to compete, belong and be seen on a national stage. Find out more here. We look forward to bringing you on the journey with us in 2026.

Our bottling site in Dongen, Netherlands recently converted its lines to use electricity.  This upgrade has seen the installation of new e-boilers and heat pumps, which means that local production – which accounts for 85% of the drinks consumed in the Netherlands – exclusively uses local, renewable wind and solar electricity. Read all about our Dongen site here .

We recently hosted the Deputy Chief Executive of Skills England, Gemma Marsh, at our Wakefield Manufacturing site to meet with our apprentices and discuss the new Growth and Skills Levy as a key moment to modernise training, boost digital and automation skills, and inspire more young people into technical careers. Our Head of Early Careers, Sharon Blyfield, penned a blog about the visit and the impending changes: Read more here

Julian has spent over 20 years in the grocery sector, leading on key issues and policy debates – from his time as Editor of The Grocer magazine, Director of Communications at the Food and Drink Federation and latterly his career at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Great Britain Limited. Whilst at CCEP he has run the corporate affairs function for CCEP in GB and previously Northern Europe and this provided him with first-hand experience of successful deposit return schemes. In his current role at CCEP he is supporting our preparations for the launch of DRS across the UK in October 2027 and was proud to be nominated by the British Soft Drinks Association to be a Non Executive Director of Exchange for Change, the UK’s deposit management organisation.
